We are a platform, not a veterinary clinic. All medical services are provided by independent licensed professionals. Any treatment decisions are solely between you and your chosen clinic.
What We Don’t Do
Emergency services. For emergencies, contact your nearest ER vet.
No AI or chatbots — only licensed veterinary professionals.
Prepaid Balances
Some services at Toto (like clinic bookings or employer-sponsored pet care credits) are billed upfront. These prepaid balances are applied only to completed appointments or platform-eligible services.
All Care Wallet funds are held in a segregated account, separate from Toto’s operating funds, and used solely for disbursing payments to clinics.
Prepaid balances are not deposits, cash, or insurance. They are closed-loop store credits redeemable only within Toto’s clinic network.
Clinics may submit payment requests through the Toto platform. Processing times may vary. Clinic schedules and payment requests are handled securely through the same upload tool.
Toto charges a flat $5 administration fee per wallet transaction to cover processing costs, including e-transfer fees.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, unused balances after 12 months revert to the sponsoring employer (or clinic) if they originally funded the wallet.
If an employee leaves a sponsoring employer, that employer may request reassignment of unused balances to another eligible employee.
Prepaid funds are not transferrable or withdrawable like cash — think of them more like store credit with real care attached.
We don’t act as a financial institution, and we don’t offer interest, investment returns, or refund guarantees.
If a business wants to pause or transfer credits (e.g., an employee leaves), we’ll work with them to reassign balances wherever it makes sense.
Bottom line: we do everything in our power to keep things simple, ethical, and transparent — because we’re building this for the good guys, not the suits.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancel at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Missed appointments without notice may result in a $35–$70 fee, depending on city.
Liability
Our services aim to provide excellent care, but liability is limited to the appointment fee paid.
We do not control or guarantee the medical services provided by clinics. Any treatment outcomes are solely the responsibility of the licensed veterinary provider.

Your Data
We collect only the info we need: your name, contact details, pet info, booking details, and payment information.
This information is used to: match you with clinics, confirm and manage appointments, send reminders and receipts, and process payments.
We do not sell your personal information.
Some of our service providers (like booking, hosting, or payment tools) may process data outside Canada. By using Toto, you consent to your data being securely transferred and stored where needed.
Security and Your Rights
Your data is securely stored and encrypted.
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. After that, it’s securely deleted or anonymized.
You may request access, updates, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
